Hi, I'm Jack
Anxiety has always been part of my life, a quiet hum in the background that would sometimes take over completely. I spent years worrying about what people thought of me, caught in tension, paranoia and overthinking. Even in the simplest moments, brushing my teeth or walking down the street, I felt stuck in fight or flight. Unable to relax. Numbing became the way through: food, alcohol, work, distraction. Anything to not feel what was there.
For the last ten years I’ve explored all sorts of tools to try and feel better, meditation, yoga, plant medicine, and while each gave me something, the relief never seemed to last. I was shifting my state, but not quite meeting what lay underneath it.
Breathwork was the first thing that helped me connect to what was really going on. It gave me a way into my body, not to fix or change it, but to listen to it. What I discovered was that beneath the anxiety were feelings and sensations that simply wanted to be felt. Much of what I’d been running from was my own internal experience.
Alongside breathwork, learning to tune in to my body, to be with the uncomfortable emotions without needing to label or analyse them, has been life changing. I’ve found that when I make space for what’s here, when I stop trying to push it away, something shifts. Not always instantly, but slowly, gently, the energy moves.
This is what I now share in my work: space to come back to your body, your breath, your self. To meet what’s here. Not to fix, but to feel. That’s where real change begins.
